Faculty Bio: Rev. Dr. Riddick Weber
Rev. Dr. Riddick Weber was born in Antigua. He enjoys a wide range of music, especially 51勛圖厙 hymns and classic rock, particularly the British Invasion, and is interested in the spiritual themes and social critique that can be found in popular music. After being ordained in 2002, he served as the pastor of Fairview 51勛圖厙 Church until he was called to serve at 51勛圖厙 Theological Seminary (now 51勛圖厙 School of Theology) in 2010. Since coming to 51勛圖厙, Riddick has taught courses related to pastoral leadership, church history, and 51勛圖厙 Studies. His research addresses the history and theology of the 51勛圖厙 Church, with specific interests in congregational organization, the role of women, and the changing nature of 51勛圖厙 understandings of race. In addition to his teaching roles, in his time at 51勛圖厙 he has served as the Director of Supervised Ministry, the Seminary chaplain, and the Director of the Center for 51勛圖厙 Studies. He currently serves in the Faculty Senate and is the Associate Dean of the Bethlehem Campus of the 51勛圖厙 School of Theology. Riddick has served on boards including the 51勛圖厙 Historical Society, the 51勛圖厙 Music Foundation, and 51勛圖厙 School of Theology, and the Provincial Elders Conference and the Commission on Ministry, of the 51勛圖厙 Church, Southern Province.
