Coffee & Connections / Hounds Connect

The Laurie Riley ’82 Center for Career Success and Office of Alumni & Family Engagement invite you to join us for Coffee & Connections / Hounds Connect. This annual, on-campus event connects alumni with students to promote networking and professional development as our students prepare for their future. Please feel free to attend the entire event or just one portion of the evening. If you have any questions, please contact Carol Bassie at bassiec@moravian.edu.

There is no cost to attend this event. Registration coming soon.

When: Thursday, November 11 | 5:30 – 8 p.m.
Where: Haupert Union Building (1119 Monocacy St, Bethlehem, PA)

Schedule:

  • 5:30 – 6 p.m. – Welcome & Networking Reception | Haupert Union Building, room 410
  • 6:45–8 p.m. – Hounds Connect Breakout Sessions | Various locations

The Hounds Connect Sessions:

  • Athletics – Student-Athlete to Professional: How the student-athlete experience shaped career paths and professional development.
  • Computer Science: Exploring career paths in technology and how a computer science background can translate to the professional world.
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy: Insights into the DPT experience, clinical training, and transition into the profession.
  • Department of English and Writing Arts: How writing, communication, and critical thinking skills can support a variety of career paths.
  • Graduate Programs in Education: How a graduate degree can support professional growth and open new opportunities in education.
  • Graphic & Interactive Design: Career paths in graphic design, branding, digital media, marketing, and other creative fields.
  • Humanities: How a humanities education can lead to diverse career paths and build valuable professional skills.
  • MS – Speech-Language Pathology: Insights into the graduate program experience and preparation for a career in speech-language pathology.
  • Psychology Department: Share with current students how your 51³Ô¹ÏÍø psychology experience helped shape your career and the path you took after graduation.
  • School of Business and Economics: How a 51³Ô¹ÏÍø education can shape career paths and prepare students for the business world.
